Conflict among your team can be healthy. Try asking them what the conflict is about and give them choices. Four common sources of conflict are:

  1. Values
  2. Facts and data
  3. Processes and methods
  4. Goals and priorities

If the source can be identified then we can:

  • Know our conflict is normal
  • Focus in on one of the sources
  • Make sure the issue aligns with our team mission and vision

Healthy conflict is good. Let’s seek to treat it objectively and not take it personally.
